Advokatfirmaet Selmer was established on 1 January 1985. Right from the outset, our four founding partners focused on innovation, continuing professional development and a strong company culture.
In 2002 we strengthened our team by employing auditors and finance professionals, who work together with our legal experts.
From the very beginning, we have supported emerging Norwegian companies – many of whom have gone on to perform IPOs and expand abroad. We have assisted start-ups with wide-ranging legal advice for many years.
Today, Selmer is an adviser to a number of private companies in Norway and abroad, as well as the public sector. Our core expertise are real estate, energy, transactions, dispute resolution and technology.

A substantial part of our work is internationally oriented. We advise foreign companies with operations in Norway, as well as Norwegian companies operating internationally. Selmer is an exclusive Norwegian member of premier professional networks:
