Technology that strengthens our legal services

The legal sector is changing, driven by technology that creates new opportunities. Selmer is actively contributing to this development. We invest in solutions we trust, build expertise across the organisation and ensure that the technology we adopt improves the quality and efficiency of the services we provide to clients.

IT security at the highest level

All providers operating services for Selmer must hold appropriate security certifications, and we only engage providers that ensure client data remains secure at all times.

We have high standards for ourselves and our suppliers. We operate on the principle that no user or system is granted access automatically; instead, we continuously verify every user and system.

We continuously develop our expertise through regular training in cybersecurity and data protection. We also test the organisation regularly to ensure that we are prepared for constantly evolving threats.

Responsible use of AI that strengthens our services

Selmer actively uses AI to improve the quality and efficiency of our services and workflows. We use Legora, a platform developed specifically for legal work, where client information is never used to train AI models.

Our guidelines govern which tools may be used and how client information must be handled. They also make clear that professional judgement always rests with the lawyer.

We build AI expertise across the organisation through regular training and hold workshops for clients on using AI effectively.

Collaboration on clients’ terms

Selmer’s technology platform is flexible, enabling us to adapt readily to the way our clients wish to work with us.

We use market-leading digital tools tailored to legal practice, including solutions for resource planning, data rooms, document management, and workflow automation.

With our own IT department, which includes in-house development expertise, we can build bespoke solutions or integrate with existing systems without relying on external providers.
