Artificial intelligence (AI)

Artificial intelligence (AI) presents significant opportunities for innovation, development, and efficiency, but it also raises complex legal questions. Our experienced lawyers have extensive experience advising companies that develop or utilise AI solutions, ensuring they remain within the legal framework at all times.

We work closely with our clients to identify opportunities and mitigate risk, enabling AI technology to be utilised most effectively. We have extensive experience advising companies that develop and sell commercial solutions using AI, as well as assisting companies in purchasing and implementing new AI solutions.

The rapid emergence of AI in recent years has led to uncertainty about how existing regulations should be applied, and what new requirements are set for the use of the technology in the form of the EU's AI Act (AI Act), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Council of Europe Convention on Artificial Intelligence, the EU's proposal for ethical guidelines for AI and other proposed legislation, as well as sector-specific regulations in areas such as finance: transport and health.

Our lawyers have closely followed legal developments for many years and possess extensive experience in addressing the legal issues that arise in connection with AI. We combine legal expertise with commercial understanding to provide practical and value-added advice. This includes, among other things, complex questions about training data, liability and intellectual property rights.
