In 2017, Posten Norge AS and several subsidiaries filed a lawsuit before Oslo District Court against the European truck manufacturers Daimler, MAN, Volvo, Renault, Iveco, Scania and DAF with a claim for compensation for alleged illegal price collusion.

Before the oral hearing commencing from September to November 2022, Posten's claim for damages was approx. 900 million Norwegian kroner. The claim was based on calculations of alleged overcharge for truck acquisitions during the infringement period from 1997 – 2011, with addition of loss of return on invested capital and penalty interest.

Oslo District Court has in its judgment of 28 February 2023 concluded that the OEMs are acquitted of the claims from Posten Norway and subsidiaries.

Selmer's litigation team representing former Daimler AG consisted of partner and Head of Competition Ole-Andreas Torgersen, partner and Head of Dispute Resolution Fredrik Lilleaas Ellingsen, senior associate Sindre Baisgård and senior associate Madeleine Bergersen.
