Expertise

Andreas Jarbø is a specialist in stock exchange and securities law, company law and transactions, and primarily assists clients with IPOs, share issues and acquisitions of companies. Furthermore, Andreas has extensive experience with early-stage investments and fund raising in unlisted companies. Andreas heads Selmer's specialist group for company law and is also often involved in matters related to corporate governance, negotiating shareholder agreements and shareholder disputes. Andreas has previously been engaged by the Norwegian Ministry of Finance as secretary to the Securities Law Committee in connection with the implementation of the EU's Market Abuse Regulation in Norwegian law. The Market Abuse Regulation regulates, among other things, insider information, insider trading, market manipulation, listed issuers' disclosure obligations and notification obligations. Furthermore, Andreas is currently appointed as a member of the Norwegian Bar Association's legal committee for stock exchange and securities trading law. Andreas often gives lectures on topics within securities and company law, including on the courses of the Juristenes Utdanningssenter (JUS), Oslo Børs and Finance Society Norway, in addition to regular seminars in company law for students.
