Christian Steen Eriksen

Christian Steen Eriksen is a partner and part of Selmer ́s energy department. He assists leading Norwegian and English companies with negotiations and execution of complex projects. In particular within oil, oilservice, shipping, financial institutuions, but also other companies. Christian is part of Selmer's litigation team and he has in-depth experience in acting in all forms of business related disputes, both before the ordinary courts in Norway and in arbitration. In recent years he have represented clients in some of the biggest and most complex disputes related to the oil and gas industry. Christian has accumulated particular expertise related to disputes in onshore and offshore construction, infrastructure, energy and maritime law, including preliminary injunctions and arrests. Christian also acts in International arbitration cases, often with assistance from our network of local lawyers. Christian has extensive experience from various forms of alternative dispute resolution in Norway and in various foreign jurisdictions. He is also an external examiner for Tilvirkningskontrakter (Offshore Contracts) at the University of Oslo.
