Expertise

Frida Sophie Stang is associated with Selmer Energy and is part of Selmer's ESG & Compliance team. Frida has particularly specialized in the Norwegian Transparency Act, as well as developments in the EU regarding supply chain due diligence and reporting requirements. Frida assists companies with preparing and implementing systems, guidelines, and routines to comply with the ESG requirements in practice.​ Further, Frida assists companies with various types of risk assessments in businesses and the implementation of effective compliance programs within anti-corruption, anti-money laundering, sanctions, export control, and human rights. Frida regularly carries out background checks and integrity investigations to identify risks associated with, for example, business partners and projects nationally and in high-risk jurisdictions, as well as recommendations for risk mitigation measures.​ Frida also has experience with investigation and crisis management in the event of suspicion or discovery of objectionable conditions in businesses. In this connection, Frida conducts factual investigations, strategic advice, assessment of risk exposure, and considerations of the need for preventive and remediation measures.​ Frida wrote her master's thesis on intellectual property rights and contributes to interdisciplinary expertise in Selmer Energy.
