Expertise

Hilde Høksnes is an expert on regulatory issues related to institutions subject to supervision by the Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway (FSA), in particular framework conditions and structural issues concerning banks, insurance companies, investment firms and fund management companies. She regularely advises on matters related to the establishment and organisation of new institutions, applications for licences, internal policies, customer contracts and product development, as well as compliance with the framework conditions. Hilde has extensive experience within structural changes in the savings bank sector, cross-border issues and advising in processes in relation to the FSA and the Ministry of Finance. With her background from the FSA, Hilde has significant experience from matters relating to framework conditions for financial institutions and supervisory processes, as well as international experience from participation in the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority's (EIOPA) Insurance Groups Supervision Committee. Hilde has developed a profound understanding of the financial services business from several committee positions in financial institutions, as well as her role as company secretary in a bank, in addition to expertise in strategic processes, business development and compliance work.
