Håkon Christoffersen is a member of Selmer's business area EU, EEA and Competition. Håkon advices clients in a wide specter of cases, with a main focus on competition law in transactions and M&A processes, including merger filing and dialogue with competition authorities in differen jurisdictions. Further, Håkon advices in investigations and implementing compliance routines, in addition to other competition and antitrust topics. From his former job in the Norwegian Competition Authority Håkon has gained a broad experience with issues regarding competition law, and the Competition Authoriry's processes and case handling. Håkon especially has experience with merger control, og has been involved in a great number of transactions in reacent years. Furthermore, Håkon has on several occations participated in "dawn raids", where the Competition Authority carries out unannounced razzias to companies suspected for violating competition legislation. Håkon also works on issues related to company law, transactions and M&A. Håkon is acknowledged as Recommended Lawyer by the international ranking bureau Legal 500 within EU and Competition in both 2022 and 2023.
