Martin Bogstrand Sørensen is part of Selmer's dispute resolution team, and specialises in the fields of expropriation law, real estate and public law.
He has extensive experience with expropriation and various types of redemption cases, such as compulsory acquisition of shares or redemption claims under the Planning and Building Act. He also has experience in cases concerning the validity of administrative decisions and compensation for various government interventions. He has also assisted in disputes between private parties concerning contractual obligations, rights and claims for damages, and has worked in a number of different industries, such as the property, petroleum, aquaculture and power sectors.
Martin also provides general advice on commercial property, property development, expropriation and planning and building law, and holds several board positions. He was previously employed by the Ombudsman, where he specialised in planning and building law issues. He has been involved in a number of cases that have raised questions about human rights, particularly the protection of property under the European Convention on Human Rights.
