Carbon capture and storage can reduce carbon risk exposure and improve the framework conditions for individual enterprises and help reduce emissions. The ambitious goals set for carbon capture and storage by both Norway and the EU will have a major impact on traditional petroleum operations and other emissions-intensive industries. To meet these demands and ambitions, Norwegian and international CCS projects are being developed at scale, many of them aiming for permanent storage of industrially produced carbon on the Norwegian continental shelf.
Selmer assists both national and international players in the CCS value chain. Our team works closely on several defining projects, and has in-depth knowledge of all relevant regulatory and contractual issues.
We have close links with both industry and the regulatory authorities, and closely monitor regulatory developments.
