Expertise
Astrid Stenersen specializes in contract law, construction law and dispute resolution. Stenersen is a highly structured lawyer who handles even the largest and most complex cases.
Stenersen has a very good overview of Norwegian construction law and relevant standards. She assists both builders, contractors, architects and other advisers in all phases of the construction project; from contract negotiations, contract drafting, ongoing consultancy during the project to final settlement. Stenersen also has experience with international standard contracts.
Stenersen has considerable litigation experience within contract law in general and construction law in particular. Stenersen is also a sought after lecturer within her fields of expertise.
Stenersen is co-author of the book Rådgiverkontrakter i et nøtteskall, regarding the Norwegian Standard consultancy contracts (NS 8401, NS 8402, NS 8403 and NS 8404), which was published by Gyldendal in 2019. Stenersen has also written legal commentary to the Lugano Convention for Karnov/Lovdata.
She is head of the legal domain in buildingSMART Norway.
