Bård Ivar Koppang

Bård I. Koppang is a specialist within Transactions and M&A, contract law, company law and tax law, in which he utilises his broad business law experience to achieve robust and creative solutions for his clients, especially within restructuring and transactions. Bård regularly advises private and pubilcly held entities within various fields of law, with a special focus on transactions, restructuring and transfers of business, in which company law, contract law, tax law and public law are involved. With his varied background as an Attorney-at-Law, leadership experience and in depth business knowledge, he utilises his broad and in-depth experience to actively solve complex legal and business matters. Bård advices clients within a number of industries, particularly within real estate, trade, the oil service industry and energy. He regularly holds lectures within his fields of law. In addition to his legal expertise, Bård has extensive leadership experience, herein in leading complex multi disiplinary projects. Bård is solution-oriented and focuses on solving his clients legal matters with a business perspective. Bård was head of PwCs Stavanger branch of Tax and Legal Services for 15 years has been Managing Partner of Tax and Legal Services in PwC Norway, and has also been board member and held leadership positions within PwC Norway. Bård was a board member of the Rogaland branch of the Norwegian Bar Association for a number of years and is company secretary in several companies.
