Although supply, drilling and other offshore-related businesses have faced challenges in recent years, the industry has maintained its world-leading position by investing in new technology, sustainability and new business areas.

Over many years, Selmer has assisted enterprises in the oil service and supply industry, and has assembled one of the largest specialist teams in the Nordics.


Our team has in-depth knowledge of the many different types of contracts used and has assisted on several of the most complex EPCI projects in recent years. We have extensive experience in shipbuilding, and have been engaged on a range of construction projects in Norway, the rest of Europe and Asia. We also possess specialist expertise in drilling, FPSO and subsea, and have a dedicated dispute resolution team with experience in handling large, complex disputes before the courts and Norwegian and foreign arbitration panels.


To cater for the increasing focus on sustainability and renewables within the industry, we have built up considerable experience in this field, and currently advise on a number of different projects in areas such as carbon capture and storage, hydrogen and offshore wind.
