Maria Therese Mikkelsen

Maria Therese Mikkelsen works primarily with renewable energy. She assists clients in the power industry with ongoing advice throughout the project's lifetime, including assistance with licenses, transactions, and in contract negotiations. Maria has assisted both power companies, grid companies and power customers in a number of energy regulatory issues, including related to licenses, grid connection, etc. Maria also has good insight into the regulatory framework for district heating. Maria has experience in advising on a wide range of environmental regulatory issues. Among other things, Maria assists companies in matters concerning climate quotas, ground pollution, emissions and ecological certification. Maria has previously been an adviser in the Ministry of Climate and Environment, where she worked with local air quality, and emission reductions in the transport sector, including work with measures to promote increased use of environmentally friendly means of transport and cleaner vehicles.
