Expertise

Eline Hellem Langeland assists clients mainly in the shipping, offshore and energy sector, with contracts, dispute resolution and other legal advice. She has experience with maritime contracts such as charter parties and drilling contracts. She has also worked with litigation before Norwegian courts and international arbitration, including cases about arrest and shipbuilding. Eline also assists with insurance-related matters within various sectors and industries. She has work experience from insurance companies withing marine insurance (P&I) and other insurance. Eline is co-author of the legal commentary to the Lugano Convention for Karnov Group Norway, where she particularly wrote about jurisdiction in insurance matters.
