Helene Hem Halum works with a wide range of real estate law matters and specializes in commercial property transactions, lease agreements, and development projects. Helene has extensive experience in real estate transactions. She possesses in-depth knowledge of all stages of the transaction process, including due diligence reviews, contract negotiations, and the completion of settlement and handover. For many years, Helene has assisted with the drafting and negotiation of lease agreements in the office, retail, and hotel sectors, both for buildings under construction and existing properties. She also provides ongoing legal advice related to existing lease relationships. Helene has significant expertise in development projects, particularly in the early phases, including the negotiation of shareholder agreements and purchase contracts, as well as company formations. In addition, she handles a variety of other real estate legal issues, such as land registration, interpretation and removal of encumbrances and easements, matters related to condominium ownership, and various corporate law matters. Helene has previously served as a deputy judge.
