Karen Anne Rekkedal

Karen Anne has public procurements as her speciality. She regularly assists public bodies with the assessment of which public bodies are covered by the procurement regulations, which procurement procedure the purchaser should follow, drafting of tender documentation, implementation of competitions, appeal processes for The Norwegian Complaints Board for Public Procurement and the courts, as well as other issues related to tender contracts. Several clients operate in the utility sector and/or in the defence and security sector and Karen Anne has particular expertise and experience with the Utility Directive and the EU Defence and Security Procurement Directive. On the supplier side, Karen Anne has advised numerous companies in connection with submitting of tenders, appeal processes and the negotiation of framework agreements. Karen Anne has assisted companies within several different sectors, such as construction, IT, health, energy, consultant services, architecture, defence and security and passenger transport. Karen Anne is also working with the Freedom of Information Acts, including issues related to requests for access under the tendering process and assessments regarding legal competence and the Norwegian Administration Act.
