Private equity funds (PE funds) are major and important owners of Norwegian businesses. The funds are active owners with clear requirements for value creation and returns. The contractual framework used for PE investments is extensive and categorised by the need to implement changes effectively, in combination with the incentivising of key employees. The funds are also dependent on effective exit mechanisms.

We have been involved in the private equity segment ever since the sector was established, and regularly work for Norwegian and global funds investing in Norway.

Over many years, we have built up extensive experience in large and complex Norwegian and international PE transactions. We strive to find innovative solutions for our clients, and have developed frameworks and templates customised for this segment.
